Reds Game and Nolan On The Move

We sat through a very hot and very long Reds game Sunday. We managed to stick it out for 11 innings and then called it quits. We were in Middletown when the game finally ended.

Getting The Lay Of The Land

I took Nolan up to school last night to let him feel the newly polished hardwood in the gym. I gave him a history lesson on Flyer Basketball and the importance of practicing during the off season.

Here is a shot of Nolan after I told him to run a

Holy Cow !

Jacob Heitkamp who is my Godchild won 1st and 3rd place for his steer

gaining the most weight per day since the weigh in several months ago.

His steer gained over 3 pounds every single day !

The Great Darke County Fair

Sunday we had a great time at the Darke County Fair.

A Bunch Of Bites - Not So Many Fish

Hayden enjoyed catching bluegills off of the bridge at the Spiritual Center 

last night. The fish were really hungry and biting good, but we only managed to land 3 little ones before we ran out of bait.  We packed up our gear and headed home to hit some golf balls.

Below is the game that Hayden picked out to play before we went to bed on Sunday night. As you can see he is the only one playing after a weekend of alumni softball for mom and dad.

Hayden finally took off the training wheels a week ago,

but you wouldn't know it by the way he is enjoying this gravel road.

Down On The Farm

The boys got to spend some time with 

their aunt Denise on the farm recently. 

Here is a shot of Hayden helping Jacob and Jared do the feeding.

After the feeding was done it was time to bounce around on the trampoline.

Nolan just took it easy down on the farm.

I'm just guessing that Jared wasn't too thrilled about this picture.
