Mustang Sally at the Country Fest

Last night Mustang Sally performed at the Country Fest. I know this picture is not very good from my phone, but the lead singer is sporting a Cory Luebke jersey. Cory had a great day on the mound for the Padres and the crowd went nuts when she said his name.

Hayden enjoyed all the rides at Country Fest this weekend. 

He enjoyed watching the motorcycle show and petting 

the animals at the petting zoo. He placed 2nd in the big wheel race 

out of 30 kids in the four year old division. 

When I get home from work tonight he will probably ask me like last year

 how many more days until the Country Fest?

The Only Way To Scale Fish !

I have two videos below of my father Bob demonstrating how he scales all of the fish we catch. I had to break it up into two videos because of the 6 minutes it takes to scale them. This scaler can do about 70 fish in seven minutes. 

A Trip to Cincy

This past weekend we took a trip to Cincinnati to root on our beloved Reds. We took the tour of the stadium and went through the Hall of Fame. I highly recommend taking the tour which includes admission to the HOF and for an extra $5 you can watch batting practice. If you have little kids you can almost guarantee they will get a ball from a home run or a player during batting practice. Between Dave Borchers and myself we came away with five balls including a bomb from Joey Votto. 

The Reds won the game later that night 8-2.
