Hayden gets to sing at Mass & Egg Hunt in July ???

Hayden had 3 days of Bible School this week where they learned four songs to sing at Mass this weekend. The video link below is the song Big House. About the only part the kids seem to want to sing is where they yell "football!"

Dad turned 72 this past week, so we got together at their house and did what every normal family does in July - We let the kids collect their Easter Eggs. It seemed like every time we got together this year it was raining or we were missing a family. The link below is Hayden picking up a few eggs.

Big Progress Being Made At The Pool

Monday night Hayden took Holly and Calen back to the Pool in Minster. 

This is a video of Calen diving and Hayden jumping off the low dive.

Considering the night before Hayden would not go under water at first or jump in off the side, he has made some real progress. The only bad part about tonight was the lifeguard later told us that Hayden can't go off the diving board with his swimmies on anymore. He was quite bummed by the news, but is now determined to learn how to swim better without them on.

Underneath The Streets of Osgood

My family took a walk on Sunday in Osgood to see how the main street replacement project was coming along. We stumbled across this tie from the old railroad that use to run north and south through town well over 100 years ago. I was later told that there was a whole stack of these that were hauled away.

Dane Goettemoeller gets a nice surprise from Cory Luebke

Two weeks after being hit by a car during Country Fest, 

Dane is up and moving around. 

He received a nice surprise in the mail this past week from Cory Luebke.

Thursday night Hayden, Calen, Holly and Spencer had a blast in the sand.

Hayden especially liked making volcanoes. 

Or as he liked to call them mullcanoes and tornadoes.
